JAMMU, February 4: Host Jammu district topped the medal tally with 20 gold, followed by district Badgam on the second day of the 7th State Wushu Championship underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The second day bouts were witnessed besides others by IGP Traffic, H K Lohia, who was special invitee. He lauded the efforts of the organizers for providing young children a platform to excel.
Meanwhile, as per organizing secretary of the championship, Kuldeep Handoo, the finals in senior group shall be followed by the valedictory function tomorrow.

BOYS: Below 20 kg: Salman, Jammu, Ist; Pankaj Nargotra, 2nd; Maitray and Redam Gupta, joint 3rd. Below 28 kg: Arjun Singh, Ist; Muzamil, 2nd; Sanjay Singh and Kanav, joint third. Below 30 kg: Sidhant, Jammu, Ist; Arya Mahajan, 2nd; Devashrya and Rupesh, joint 3rd. Below 30 kg: Aquib Mir, Budgam, Ist; Pawandeep, Jammu, 2nd; Sohail and Tanzil, joint 3rd.
