| Govt committed for transparent governance: Rana | | | Early Times Report

Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana today said that transparency and accountability was the mantra for good governance and a transparent and accountable system of governance can ensure eradication of corruption.
The Political Advisor said implementation of RTI Act, appointment of State Chief Information Commissioner, commissioning of e-tendering and e-procurement, holding of Awami Darbars, setting up of Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell holding of Panchayat elections and setting up of State Vigilance Commission and State Accountability Commission are steps towards ensuring transparency and accountability in the system.
Rana lauded the efforts of the Ascent Group under the able guidance of Mohammad Shafi Pandit which has undertaken the noble task of providing a platform for civil service aspirants from different corners of the state for preparing for the examinations in the best environment possible.
Mohammad Shafi Pandit thanked Rana and praised the coalition government’s initiatives to streamline the administration and said that the responsive administrative machinery can lead to better governance and effective grievance redressal.
