| GGHSS, Shastri Nagar celebrates annual day function | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 5: The Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shasri Nagar celebrated its annual day and released the school magazine “DEVIKA” here today.
Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed was the chief guest whereas Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla, Director School Education G A Qureshi and Chief Education Officer (C.E.O) Natha Ram Dhingra were the also present.
Minister for School Education appreciated the working of the school management besides staff and students of the school for showing tremendous progress in all the fields including sports, academics or culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi congratulated the school principal and the staff for their academic excellence.
Chief Education Officer, N R Dhiagra also extended his blessings and good wishes to all the students.
Earlier, Principal Gurcharan Singh welcomed all the distinguished guests and presented annual report of the school and highlighted various activities performed by the school administration time-to-time.
A colorful cultural bonanza was also held to give warm and loving farewell to the outgoing students on the occasion.
Lecturers and teachers and NSS Programme Officer, were also awarded by the esteemed dignitaries for their dedicated and devotional work.
