Anti-corruption society for eradication of corruption

Jammu Feb 5: The Anti Corruption Society appealed the people of the State to help them to eradicate corruption from the society, here today.
Addressing a press conference, Secretary Sanjay Ratra said that eradication of corruption should be the nation’s top priority in view of the ever increasing horizon of political and administrative corruption and its baneful multifarious effects on the society at large.
He suggested a comprehensive corruption eradication programme and framing of autonomous standing committee under the chairmanship of judges, senior officials and citizens to oversee the activities.
He also said that number of specific measures have been recommended to control corruption in administration. First, a high powered task force to be established consisting of public officials, parliamentarians and leading citizens to review all relevant issues pertaining to corruption.
Others who were present in the press conference were Dalip Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Guncha Sharma, Sukhminder Kour and Kiran Sapolia.
