| Army constructs new room in Primary School Manna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 5: As part of ongoing Operation Sadbhavana by Army in Jammu and Kashmir, an office room was inaugurated by Commander Kalidhar Brigade for the staff of Government Primary School, Manna in Akhnoor tehsil.
The office room, office furniture and sports equipment were handed over during the ceremony. School children presented an impressive display in a cultural program.
In addition to various important civil dignitaries of Sunderbani and school staff, approx 400 villagers were also in attendance.
The Commander, Kalidhar Brigade while addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of Sadbhavana, especially in underdeveloped border areas.
He also thanked all the villagers for their support and laid stress on cordial relations and continuous liaison between Army and local population.
In addition to various important civil dignitaries of Sunderbani and school staff, approx 400 villagers were also in attendance the function.
On this occasion, two deserving students of Government Primary School, Manna from poor families were also felicitated by Kalidhar Brigade.
The ceremony culminated with the interaction of Commander with civilians and refreshments organised by Army for all invitees and participants.
