| Sub-Inspector accorded farewell | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Feb 5: Sub-Inspector Abdul Rehman of Armed Police headquarters J&K who retired after attaining the age of superannuation was accorded a warm farewell by the senior officers and staff members of APHQ in an impressive function presided over by ADGP Armed/Law & Order J&K, K Rajendra Kumar (IPS) at conference hall of APHQ J&K Jammu.
While addressing the function, the ADGP highly appreciated the role played by SI Abdul Rehman during his entire service and desired that his service career should be the role model for all.
The ADGP also issued on spot instructions to the concerned officers for expeditious settlement of his all pensionery benefits and asked the SI that he should continue to feel himself the member of J&K Police Parivar and should never hesitate in approaching us for any kind of help which we may be in a position to render.
K.Rajendra Kumar presented a cheque amounting to Rs 35,000 to SI Abdul Rehman as a retirement gift as applicable under J&K Police Welfare Fund (Amendment) Rules 2010 for its employees and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
A gift was also presented to the retiring SI by the ADGP on behalf of all the officers and officials
