6 more stone pelters held in Kashmir

SRINAGAR Feb 5: Six more persons, alleged to be involved in incidents of stone pelting last summer in the valley, were today apprehended at Baramulla.
A police spokesman said police arrested six more stone pelters for their role in the summer unrest in the valley.
He identified them as Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, Mohammad Akram Dar, Mohammad Sharief Bhat, Javid Ahamd Bhat, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and Reyaz Ahmad Dar. They were apprehended from Kreeri Pattan in Baramulla.
He said these stone pelters were evading their arrest since long and were responsible for creating law and order problems in Kreeri area.
With this, a total of 15 stone pelters had been arrested in Kreeri during the last two weeks.
