| Lecturers observing protest day on Feb 9 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 6: All Jammu and Kashmir Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has finalized preparations for observing protest day on February 9 across the state against the failure of government in implementing decision of Cabinet for regularization of Incharge incumbents in school education department.
Forums’ central House of Representatives which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of H.D Qureshi reviewed preparedness in the presence of district presidents of Jammu region. Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, President Kashmir Province was also present in the meeting.
H. D Qureshi, state president of the forum while speaking on the occasion appealed the State Chief Minister for his personal intervention for implementation of the cabinet decision dated March 29, 2010 to get rid of the agony of Incharge prevailing in the department since 1998 onwards.
Dr. Manzoor Ahmed President Kashmir province while speaking on the occasion informed the House that Kashmir and Ladakh regions will participate in the protest demonstration on to register their resentment against the failure of government to fulfill its decisions. Others who spoke on the occasion included Charan Dass, Manmeet Bali, N.S Jamwal, Ashwani Sharma, B.D Sharma and district presidents of Jammu province, besides Bashir Ahmed General secretary Kashmir Province and many others.
