| Taj distributes 52 solar lights at Chandanwari | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Baramulla Feb 06: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, who is on a two-day visit to Uri, distributed 52 solar lights among the deserving families of Chandanwari today.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said already the Government has launched schemes to improve rural connectivity, education, healthcare and economy of the people of the State to give a flip to their standard of living.
Taj said a number of water supply and irrigation schemes have been taken in hand so that more and more water is available for drinking and irrigation purposes. He asked the youth to take benefit of the employment programmes launched by the Government.
On the occasion, many deputations and people met the Minister and apprised him about their problems. He assured them that all possible steps would be taken by the Government to solve these problems.
