| New buildings inaugurated in Ramgarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 06: Minister for the Industries and commerce,. Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated new Buildings at Ramgarh, including CFC, CIC, CAC, Hostel building of higher secondary school at Nandpur, developed under Model Village Nandpur cluster area approach, which will facilitate the people of Ramgarh sector.
Constructed by the Rural Development Department under Border Area Development programme at an estimate cost of Rs 62 lacs, the Common Facility Centre, Community Information Centre and Hostel building in Government Girls Higher Secondary school Nandpur and Cultural Activity Centre will also benefit the people of the border area.
On the occasion, the local people demanded black topping of link roads, drinking water facility at higher secondary school, passenger shed for the convenience of common masses and resolving the pending Ration card issue.
Responding to the public demands, the Minister assured early construction of passenger shed for the convenience of the people, blacktopping of link road Nandpur and up-gradation of existing transformer at Nandpur. He also assured that the remaining demands of development of lanes and drains would be met in a phased manner.
He said that he is working for up-gradation of power stations in Ramgarh to improve the electricity supply in border areas. He also said that he has taken up the matter with the Chief Minister for opening of degree College at Ramgarh. |
