| Deputations meet NC leader, highlight problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BANIHAL, Feb 7: National Conference (NC) leader and district secretary Ramban Sajjad Shaheeen today addressed a number of public meetings at Ramsoo, Batru, Ukharhal, Bingara Paristan during his tour to these areas.
A number of deputations met Shaheen and highlighted their day to day problems related to erratic supply of electricity, drinking water, road connectivity, health care facilities and other related problems.
People also complained about the shortage of essential commodities like rice, flour, sugar, kerosene oil in the respective areas. People also informed the leader that majority of population living in Bingara, Nowgam, Gujrara, Chivli, Maligam, Pogal, Halla, Dardahi have been deprived of road connectivity and people have to travel long distances on foot to reach on the road side.
Addressing the gathering, Shaheen assured the people that their genuine problems will be brought to the notice of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his personal attention would be sought to mitigate the sufferings of the people living in these remote areas.
