| Mandir solemnizes marriage of poor girls | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: Arrangements were finalized for celebration of Hanuman Jayanti at a meeting held in Prachin Hanuman Mandir in Moti Bazar area of Sabzi Mandi today.
Meeting was chaired by President Management committee of the temple B.S. Jamwal. He decided that this year, Hanuman Jayanti Celebration will commence with Bhajan Sandhya and Kanjak Poojan followed by Ramayan Akhand Paath by renowned Vedic Scholars for peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. A Vishal Bhandara will be organized on the Hanuman Jayanti.
Meeting also discussed modalities for setting up of an old age Ashram in the vicinity of Jammu, besides solemnizing the marriages of orphan and poor girls on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti to serve the Society. Meeting was attended by the Members of the committee, Mahant Dushyant Sharma, Kamal Sharma, Subash Shastri, Sanjeev Pargal, Dharmi Dhar, Lavnish Sathe, Rajiv Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Vinod Gupta, Kapil Gupta, Vinay Saraf, Nagesh Sharma, Vinay Gupta and Thakur Singh.
