| Foundation stone of multipurpose hall at Industrial Estate | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 06: To facilitate the people of Digiana, the Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla today laid foundation stone of multipurpose community hall, estimated to cost of Rs 40 lakh, at Industrial Estate in Digiana, .
The proposed community hall would have all facilities for organising major social events, with kitchen, parking and other basic amenities.
Interacting with the locals after laying the foundation stone, Bhalla informed the hall would be constructed on modern lines and on its completion, the people of Digiana and its adjoining areas would be able to arrange social and religious functions on nominal fee.
Earlier, Bhalla also visited Gandhi Nagar near Sawhney stop and inaugurated a newly constructed 225 square feet park. The park has been developed at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh by Jammu Municipal Corporation with the provisions for illumination, seating, drinking water, landscaping and walkway facilities. He appealed the inhabitants to keep the surroundings of the park neat and clean.
