EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 06: Jammu and Kashmir clinched bronze medal after the side remained second runners-up in the 24th Senior National Korfball Championship concluded today at Nagpur in Maharashtra. As per the reports reaching here, J&K defeated Andhra Pradesh 19-16 in the hardliner played today. Earlier, in the league round, J&K defeated Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar and lost to Andhra Pradesh to top in group-A. Later, in quarterfinals, J&K outplayed Haryana 13-10, followed by the defeat in the hands of Uttrakhand 17-18 in the semi-finals yesterday. From J&K, skipper, Manjit Singh, Sunil Singh, Vinay Pal, Irfan and Rashmi Sharma played well throughout the tournament.
