| Awareness camp held in Tral | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar Feb 7- The Women’s Development Corporation (WDC) today conducted an awareness camp at village Gulshanpora in Tral area of district Pulwama, which was attended by more than 300 women of the area.
The Managing Director Dr Naheed Soz, Development Officer, Kashmir Showkat Ahmad Rather and other officials of health and social welfare departments were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director called upon the women to develop interest in self employment schemes to become independent economically. She said present day needs call for joint contribution both by male and female constituents of a family to prosper. There are a host of economic activities which women can perform in their respective residences and earn dignified living, she said.
