| DDC reviews physical, financial achievements | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, FEB 07- To review physical and financial achievements of various departments registered by them upto ending January, 2011, the District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, G. A. Khawaja convened a meeting with districts officers here today.
Senior officers of PHE, PDD, R&B, Health, Agriculture and various other departments were present in the meeting.
The meeting was apprised that 75% work has been achieved so far besides 63945 job cards have been issued under MNREGA.
In the meeting detailed sector wise review was held which mainly include status of different schemes under execution, action taken reports of District Development Board meeting.
Khawaja asked the officers to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the tempo of developmental activities pertaining to their departments so that desired targets could be achieved in a time bound manner.
The DDC exhorted upon officers to accelerate the frequencies of meetings by conducting periodical reviews with proper follow up of the decisions taken in such meetings. This would certainly go a long way in registering maximum achievements in the implementation of various projects at the grass root level for the benefit of the common masses, he asserted.
