| Raj Bhasha committee visits MANUU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
HYDERABAD, Feb 7: A high level Raj Bhasha Karyavyan committee (RBKC) of University Grants Commission today visited Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that the committee was led by Y. Lakshmi Prasad. It added that during interaction with the University officials, Lakshmi Prasad remarked that national universities are best places to promote national language. Other members included Mahesh Chander Gupta, Ramesh Babu Ariarey, Naresh Kumar, Dr. Manju Singh, Ursula Minz and Y.V. Puntulu.
Vice-Chancellor MANUU Prof. Mohammad Miyan said that Urdu and Hindi are sisters and they can grow under each other’s influence. Committee suggested different measures to promote Hindi Language. Prof. T.V. Kattimani, Ehtesham Ahmed Khan, Azhar Hussain Khan, Dr. Kahkashan Latif and Abrar Ahmed, co-ordinated the visit.
