BDA fails to achieve targets, demand for inquiry
2/7/2011 9:37:34 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, Feb 7: Despite allocation of funds, Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) has failed to achieve the target due to non-availability of experts in tourism sector.
Sources said that most of the employees are working on deputation basis. They added that these have been called from other departments included rural development, PHE, agriculture, education and R&B. Not only this, sources informed that in 2009, BDA without inviting applications appointed 42 blue eyed boys, all through backdoor and enjoying political patronage. Sources further said that while BDA is giving wide publicity to recently passed master plan and widening roads, people are demanding an impartial inquiry into the allocation and utilization of funds.
