A huge quantity of explosives was today recovered by police and 152 Bn of CRPF from a militant hideout in Narian forests of Hari Budha in Mandi, Poonch.
Police sources said police and CRPF came across a militant hideout while making searches in Narian forests. The search of the hideout led jawans to the recovery of 12 UBGL shells, 4 rocket launchers, 4 anti-tank rifle grenades, 4 grenades,
2 pressure mines, 5 RPG boosters, 2 RPG rounds and 4 detonators, 136 rounds of AK rifle, one AK magazine and two RPG guns. The hideout was later destroyed by the search party, the sources added.
