| Programme on capacity building organised | | | Early Times Report

J&K ITCO has organized programme on capacity building on use of consultancy services by client organizations in association with consultancy development centre (CDC) DSIR, ministry of science and technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi at JKEDI, Udyog Bhawan Jammu.
S.P. Qalandar, J&K industries, was the chief guest. Others present were officers of various government departments viz J&K SICOP, J&K cement Ltd. J&K SIDCO and representative from industries & commerce J&K and other guests.
A.K Koul, managing director , J&K ITCO in his welcome address spoke about the aim and objective of the programme. He also spoke on usefulness of J&K ITCO association with CDC in capacity building on use of consultancy services in government departments, PSUs and client organizations.
S.P. Qalandar, J&K industries in his speech stressed the importance of consultancy services and activities of consultant in development of entrepreneurs and benefit of appointing consultants.
Binoy Kumar, consultant, J&K ITCO took the technical session on different aspects of selection of consultants viz short listing of consultants, proposal invitation, proposal evaluation.
S.P Sud chief consultant J&K ITCO took the session of consultant client agreement and in his vote of thanks highlighted the role of J&K ITCO and CDC for broader coverage of use of consultancy services in the state and hoped for co-operation from officers of various department / organizations present in the programme in conducting further programmes in future and extended thanks on behalf of J&K ITCO for attending the sessions of the programme
