| Kargil House at Delhi soon: Akhoon | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 08- A spacious Kargil House in National Capital will be constructed for which a piece of 1.5 Kanal lands has been acquired at Sector 18 A, phase-II Dwarka, route 205.
This was stated by the Minister for CA&PD, Qamar Ali Akhoon, who is presently on a visit to the National Capital after visiting a proposed site.
Akhoon said that a four storey spacious Kargil House will be constructed with a view to minimize the accommodation difficulties being faced by the Kargil Hajj pilgrims and general people in the national capital. He said adequate funds will be arranged to ensure the completion of the complex within 2 years. He issued instructions to the concerned authorities for immediate transfer of Rs. 15 lakh to the Delhi Development Authority as cost of land.
He also underscored the need for early engagement of a renowned Architect for preparation blue print of the complex so that the work on the same is started at the earliest.
The Minister was accompanied by senior officers and a team of engineers from the Kargil district.
