JKNPP demands regularization of contractual employees | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 8: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has appealed state government to regularize contractual, adhoc and other categories employees appointed on temporary basis in different government departments. JKNPP has further threatened to go on fast unto death outside Raj Bhawan, Jammu. This was stated by JKNPP supremo Bhim Singh while addressing a press conference here today. He disclosed that Panthers Party has set up a committee under the chairmanship of former Education Minister Harshdev Singh to work out all possible legal, political and other means and methods to ensure end of discrimination and dignified treatment being met to the casual or contractual employees. He appealed the government to regularize all contractual, adhoc appointments and those employees who have completed more than a year in service. Singh informed that JKNPP has decided to move PIL for the regularization of all the SPOs, who have been working with full dedication and discipline yet getting only at Rs 3500 per month which is a shameful and discriminatory treatment” he added.
