Jammu, Feb 9: In an impressive function organized by Pradesh Youth Congress at Congress Bhawan Shaheedi Chowk Jammu the entire unit of BJP fromSrinagar district and delegates drawn from adjoining districts joined Youth Congress before the PYC president Shoaib Nabi Lone.
R. S. Pathania, senior vice president, PYC, J & K, was also present on the occasion. While welcoming the joining of Farooq Ahmad Dar, district president, Ghulam Mohd. Pandit, Halqa president and Fayaz Malik delegate of BJP along-with 200 workers/supporters of BJP from Kashmir, Shoaib Lone, PYC President, said that policies and programmes of Rahul have attracted the youth of Kashmir towards the party and they are pretty eager to fall in line with it. He further said that after joining of large number of leaders and activists of BJP the Congress party will strengthen in Valley.
Farooq Ahmad Dar, pledged fullest support to Youth Congress and vowed to stand by it in times to come.
He further said that he like hundreds of other people are fed up with the divisive policies of Bhartiya Janta Party and said that the development and progress of the state is only possible under the banner of Congress party. R.S Pathania also spoke on the occasion and welcomed the newly joined leaders.
Pranav Shagotra, Shivang Satya Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Sonu Dogra, Vivek Gupta, Z.S. Malik, Yasir Pandit, Pankaj Chibber, Rajvir Manhas, Amit Manhas, Amit Gandotra, Ajay Jamwal, Mandeep Singh, Ravi Kumar, Varinder Singh, Jyoti Vaid, Shashi Bhushan, Manu Jamwal, Ronik Sharma, Nitish Mahajan, RS Chib, and other Youth Congress leaders were also present on the occasion.
