| High Court admits LPA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb-09 :- A division bench of the High Court today admitted an LPA filed by State High Court through Registrar General against the judgment and order passed by Writ Court on February 1, 2011 to the extent it directs recasting of list of candidates selected for the post of Readers in the High Court.
Division Bench Comprising Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir and Justice MH Attar of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Jammu Wing today after hearing Senior Advocate AV Gupta assisted by Advocate Aditya Gupta for the appellants admitted LPA for and issued notice returnable within four weeks. In the meantime subject to objections from other side, the impugned judgment was stayed till further orders.
In another LPA filed by a private appellant, Division Bench also passed the same order in which Advocate DS Chouhan appeared for the appellant. JNF
