| PMHS celebrates Annual day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 9: Popular Model High School (PMHS) Nanak Nagar celebrated 24th annual day here today. Minister of state Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma was the chief guest.
Principal of Government Polytechnic College (GPC) N.H.Malik was guest of honor. Students on this occasion presented various colorful items including songs, dances, bhangra and skit before the distinguished guests. The items were a blend of different traditions. Students also highlighted the effect of global warming and importance of water through skits.
Students who excelled in academics and other curricular activities were awarded by the distinguished guests. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manohar Lal appreciated students for their performance. He also promised to help the institution in granting scholarship to the deserving students.
Chairman, Dr. A.K.Arora and Principal Usha Sharma highlighted the achievements of the school and discussed importance of primary education as an important parameter in the growth of society. Vote of thanks was presented by Varun Koul and Sheetal Sharma.
