| Deputations call on CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 09 – Various deputations from across the State called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here this evening and apprised him of the demands.
Several individuals also met the Chief Minister and presented their individual problems to him for redressal.
The Legislator T. Namgiyal in his meeting with the Chief Minister discussed various development issues pertaining to his constituency while various former MLAs and MLCs also discussed public issues with the Chief Minister.
The deputations from Machhil, Doda, Banihal, Beerwah, Budgam, Pahalgam, Srinagar, Jammu and Lolab apprised the Chief Minister of various demands relating to the upgradation of basic amenities in their areas and special employment packages for youth.
A deputation of University Students from Srinagar presented a memorandum of demands to the Chief Minister relating to their studies and welfare.
The Chief Minister gave patient hearing to the deputations and assured consideration of genuine demands.
