| Perpetrator of terrorism has become its victim | | |
One who rides the tiger is always under fear of the tiger throwing him down, pouncing upon and piercing him, is an old saying. It has proved right in the case of Pakistan who has remained patronizing and engineering terrorism in other countries, as a state policy. This has ultimately recoiled on Pakistan itself. Killing by a suicide bomber of 42 Pakistani soldiers at an army training ground, on November 8, is a case of the tiger pouncing upon its rider. For last few decades Pakistan has been pursuing a suicidal course of interfering in the internal affairs of its neighbouring countries militarily. Soon after independence and partition of the Indian sub continent, Pakistan sent armed tribals in Jammu and Kashmir, to forcibly occupy the state and annexed it to Pakistan. It again sent raiders into India in1965. These Pak sponsored aggressions were repulsed, with heavy causalities inflicted on the aggressors. Pakistan also militarily supported Taliban, the extremist Islamic outfit in Afghanistan to capture power in that country. In alliance with USA it made every bid to extend its political influence and serve its own interest in Afghanistan and to achieve this objective it engineered a civil war in that country. The armed tribals on Pakistan’s frontier with Afghanistan have always been a fighting force who rose in rebilling even against the British government, to sustain their independent status. With view to tame them and divert their attention from Pak ruling establishment, Pakistan engaged them against the occupying Russian forces and after USSR was forced to leave Afghanistan Pakistan used its tribals and the Islamic jehadis in Afghanistan to extend its area of influence. But after it was forced to align with USA in their war against Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, Pakistan did not hesitate to go to nay extent. The Islamic jehadis, whether within Pakistan or on its border in Afghanistan naturally turned against it. The November 8 suicide attack on army camp in Pakistan is said to be a retaliatory action by the Islamic jehadis against the bloody army assault on a militant camp last week. This came nine days after Pak security forces bombarded a madarasa in a near by tribal area, killing 80 people, the biggest number of suspected militants killed in an assault. The suicide bomber that struck the army camp was rapped in a cloak around his body and came running into the training area and exploded himself. This has been the exact modus operandi adopted by Pakistan in motivating and engineering suicide jehadis against Indian army camps in J&K. During last 18 years of Pak sponsored militancy in J&K scores of such cases have taken place where the suicide Islamic volunteers have barged into army camps, exploded them. Killing themselves along with a large number of Indian security personnel. These suicide bombers have even struck the civilian areas like crowded places and religious shrines leading to the killing of a large number of innocents. Whether it was suicide attack on Raghunath Temple Jammu, Akshar Dham temple in Gujarat, Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Jammu railway station attack, the Kaluchack attack or serial bomb blasts in the metros in Mumbai etc. the method had been almost the similar and in all these Pakistani hand has been found. Now the same forces of anarchy and destruction which Pakistan let loose against India, have started striking Pakistan itself.
