| NCC cadets bring laurels in RD camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 10: Five NCC cadets of Govt. Degree College Udhampur under the command of Lt. Kamal Kishore participated in 61st Republic Day Camp 2011 at New Delhi w.e.f 29th December 2010 to 01stFebruary 2011.
Cadet Parshotam Chowdhary participated as a Right Markar in NCC contingent at Rajpath, cadet Bir Birender in PM Rally, Slithering and Cancer Awareness Programme, cadet Damanpreet Kour participated in NCC Contingent at Rajpath PM rally and also in cultural programme. Damanpreet Kour was adjudged as the Best Cadet of J&K as she was Girls’ Contingent Commander of J&K Directorate.
Cadet Damanpreet Kour, Parshotam Choudhary and Bir Birender Singh were selected for Youth Exchange Programme to the Commonwealth Countries.
Principal of the college Dr. N.K Resutra congratulated the cadets for their excellence in various activities in R D Camp and gave his best wishes to the cadets for future activities.
