| Mankotia inaugurates lane-drain works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur: Feb 10: Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA today inaugurated several lane drain work in different wards of the town, officers from different department including PHE, UEED & Local body also accompanied the MLA.
Mankotia inaugurated lane drain leading towards Sitla Mata Mandir at ward No. 12, Lane drain at W. No 8 leading towards Hari Rama Hara Krishna & lane with covered drain at ward number 6 leading towards Bank of India, the estimated cost of these works is Rs. 2.00 Lacs, Rs. 1.50 Lacs & Rs. 4.00 Lacs respectively.
Mankotia directed the concerned department that there should not be compromise with quality, and warned that if he received any complain regarding low quality material than strict action would be taken against the concerned official, he asked the local people to continue check on the material being used for work so that the quality of work is taken care off. Other who were present, Gopal Pachyala, Vijay Vikil, Veeru Verma, Naresh Kumar, Sudesh Sharma, Sunil Proach.
