| PSA organized 3rd conference on commercialization of education | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Feb 10: The Progressive Student Association (PSA) organised 3rd state conference at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Kathua.
On the occasion, a massive procession was taken out around the city with appealing slogans such as “Stop the commercialization of the Education”, “Capitalism Down”.
Activists of the PSA presented most revolutionary songs, Natak to highlight the drawbacks of present impact of capitalist system on the education and in general on entire masses of the country. Former
state president Rahul lambasted on the present political system which is the main cause to keep the common and poor man away from the facilities of education and causing the fatal harm on the lives of the
each anad every section of the society. All the goverments has left the responsibility to provide the education to all and to secure the lives of the countrymen at large.
On the occasion, senior activist of PSA Zakir, Sajay , Sushil, Rishu, Rozi, Sirohi, delivered the speech on on the root cause of the commercialization of education and the shrinking of democratic spaces
in the today’s educational institution for the students. They criticised the present education system which is meant to produce the clerks for the business and looters of the society. On the occasion, Dheeraj, a final year student of R.S Pura Degree College has been elected as the president by the state committee of the PSA.
