| Commerce college students hold protest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 11: The students of Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu under the banner of National Panthers Students’ Union (NPSU) held a protest demonstration against the College authorities for their alleged non-seriousness towards the problems of students.
Led by Ishan Choudhary and Lovkesh Gandhi, a large number of students gathered at college campus and started raising slogans against the college administration.
The angry students alleged that the college authorities was forcing the students to give re-test of Internal assessment which was against the interest of students whose date sheet has already been declared by
Jammu University.
They also said that why students should waste their crucial time for re-assessment and why the college authorities are now saying after such a long time that the students have resorted to unfair-means
during the internal assessment conducted recently.
The irate students asked why the students should suffer for non-seriousness of the college authorities. The agitating students demanded that culprit should be found and punished. They later
‘gheraoed’ the Principal, who after listening the students plea, agreed to withdraw the re-assessment test.
