2/11/2011 10:52:11 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 11: Young Panthers has taken serious note of the alleged involvement of
top police officers and politicians in land grabbing and other
criminal acts.
In a press conference held at party headquarters Pushvinder Singh
Manhas State Sr. Vice-President, Young Panthers, lambasted the state
government for not exposing the names of the tainted ministers whereas
they have disclosed the name of some police officials which were
involved in land grabbing and other criminal conspiracies. Pushvinder
said that it is very unfortunate that the land grabbers who have
encroached thousands of kanals of state and forest land are none other
than top most politicians of major political parties of the state.
Pushvinder said that involvement of some politicians was surfaced in
MBBS/BDS entrance exams scandal but till date no action has been taken
by government against them.
He further said that it is clear now that a notorious gangster who was
allegedly involved Chopra murder case has definite links with these
tainted politicians but state government is not daring to expose these
politicians and is trying its level best to save them. He reminded
that the Chief Minister of state Omar Abdullah repeatedly claims that
he is in the favour of corruption free government in the state, then,
why he is not taking any action against such tainted politicians?
Pushvinder demanded that the names of these politicians should be
exposed with immediate effect. He also demanded for judicial inquiry
into land grabbing cases in the state which should be headed by some
justice of court of law.
