Young Panthers demand judicial inquiry into land grabbing cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 11: Young Panthers has taken serious note of the alleged involvement of top police officers and politicians in land grabbing and other criminal acts. In a press conference held at party headquarters Pushvinder Singh Manhas State Sr. Vice-President, Young Panthers, lambasted the state government for not exposing the names of the tainted ministers whereas they have disclosed the name of some police officials which were involved in land grabbing and other criminal conspiracies. Pushvinder said that it is very unfortunate that the land grabbers who have encroached thousands of kanals of state and forest land are none other than top most politicians of major political parties of the state. Pushvinder said that involvement of some politicians was surfaced in MBBS/BDS entrance exams scandal but till date no action has been taken by government against them. He further said that it is clear now that a notorious gangster who was allegedly involved Chopra murder case has definite links with these tainted politicians but state government is not daring to expose these politicians and is trying its level best to save them. He reminded that the Chief Minister of state Omar Abdullah repeatedly claims that he is in the favour of corruption free government in the state, then, why he is not taking any action against such tainted politicians? Pushvinder demanded that the names of these politicians should be exposed with immediate effect. He also demanded for judicial inquiry into land grabbing cases in the state which should be headed by some justice of court of law.
