31 children selected under talent hunt programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 11: About 31 children were today selected under ‘Chuna Hai Aasman’, a talent hunt programme launched by the J&K Police to give platform to the children to display their talent. The event organised at District Police Lines (DPL) under the Civil Action plan, initiated by the DGP Kuldeep Khoda was aimed at allowing children from each corner of the state to use platform created by police to showcase their hidden talent. It is one of the biggest talent hunt programme in Jammu and Kashmir, in which children are being picked up at district level. In junior category, 10 children were selected and in senior category, 10 participants were selected while in open category 11 candidates were elected. Children displayed their talent in classical music and other cultural activities. As per the plan under the talent search, children are selected from various districts and then they had to compete at zonal level. Today’s programme was one such in which the selected candidates would now display their talent at Zonal level. The event was inaugurated by SP South Rajeshwar Singh along with SP (Headquarter) Shalinder Singh. DSP (DAR) Sanjay Sharma and Lines Opender Singh had made the arrangement for the successful conduct of the event. The event was judged by Suraj Singh and Bahadur Singh, Professors of Music and Fine Arts.
