| Capacity building programme at Basantgarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Feb 11: In an eventful and interactive session with teachers of the Sub- Division during concluding sessions of 10-days Capacity Building Programme organized by DIET Udhampur, SDM Dudu Basantgarh, Amit Sharma impressed upon them to act as role models for students as well as fellow colleagues of other departments.
He quoted several contemporary and even past examples of teachers who have made it to the top rungs such as heads of states, bureaucracy and even successful leaders amongst the masses. While addressing teachers, Amit Sharma told teachers to incorporate innovation in their respective styles of functioning so as to leave a deep and long lasting impact on the students.
SDM Amit Sharma told them to do exemplary work in the schools of Dudu Basantgarh and also announced that special awards and recommendations for promotions shall be given to those teachers who shall lead in pass percentage and churning out maximum all rounder students in the Sub-Division. Others who were present on the occasion included Gian Chand, Abdul Rashid Wani, Mohammed Saddiq, Madan Lal, Kewal Kumar, Mustafa Kamal and media representatives.
