JAMMU, Feb 11: BJP today remembered Pandit Deen Dayal Uphadhaya on his 43rd death anniversary by observing the day as “Samarpan Diwas”.
In a simple programme held at party headquarters under state President Shamsher Singh Manhas, party leaders and activists described this great soul as a noble human being. Manhas, while speaking on the occasion, said that although Uphadhaya lost his parents during his early childhood, but he continued his studies.
Manhas said that Pandit Upadhyaya is well known for his idea as Integral Humanism - the concept which is deeply embedded in Indian Psyche. Manhas said that Pandit Deendayal Uphadhaya was institution in himself. Bali Bhagat, Chander Prakash Ganga, Suresh Jamwal, Anil Gupta, Satish Sharma, Sat Sharma (C.A), Usha Choudhary, Yudhvir Sethi, Mamta Singh, Purnima Sharma, Shilpi Verma, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Ramesh Arora (Adv.), Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Balbir Ram, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Lalit Moza, Bansi Lal Bharti, Rajesh Gupta, Gulshan Mahajan and Subhash Jandial were present on the occasion.
