| Chib reviews development works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 11: Minister for Medical Education R. S. Chib chaired a meeting of officers convened to review the pace of developmental works under execution in Border Tehsil R. S. Pura here last evening.
Addressing the meeting, Minister asked officers to accelerate pace of work and complete the on-going projects within stipulated time frame so that the masses get benefited from these projects. He said that adequate funds are available completion of these projects.
Chib directed for identification of developmental project on priority which are vital for socio-economic growth of the people of border Tehsil. He asked concerned to involve the local public representatives for installation of High Mast Lights in the area.
It was also given out that out that as many as 144 works of de-silting on 17 channels have been taken up under MNREGA. Among others, besides Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ashwani Kumar Khajuria and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
