| Annual day celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Feb 11: Minister of State for Power Shabir Khan has said that education is the best tool for socio-economic development of a society, adding that government has focused attention towards providing quality and vocational education to the students to prepare them to face the modern challenges.
Addressing annual day function of Government Higher Secondary School, Dehriralyaote Rajouri today, Minister said that government has taken several steps for upgrading education facilities with special thrust on modern education. Shabir while congratulating the KAS pass outs of Rajouri district said that almost all these students who succeeded in this prestigious professional examination have studied in Government educational institutions.
Shabir said that imparting moral education alongwith academics is pre-requisite to the students and asked teaching community to pay special attention towards the same. On the occasion, Suifi-Saint Dewan Ali alias Saint Danu (RA) Memorial Charitable Trust, Derari-Rajouri organized a Sufi cultural programme presented by students of the institution presented a cultural item which was witnessed by thousands.
