10 Sant Nirankari Mandal is organizing its 59th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in the Union Capital from November 11 to 13,2006.
The main objective of the congregation, which is likely to be attended by lakhs of people across the country, is to show to the world that with the realization of God, people could co-exist in peace, irrespective of possessing different caste, creed, colour and religion. The Samagam will certainly be an example of unity in diversity, a handout of the Mandal said.
The voluntary sewa for preparation of the ground, spread over 400 acres of land, taken up on October 15 has almost been completed. Thousands of volunteers are engaged in removing the silt, bushes, leveling of ground, erecting gates as also the tents. Special care is being taken to ensure availability of adequate water, electricity and sewerage. The Samagam Committee is also seeking necessary assistance from Delhi Government and other concerned agencies to make the event success.
