| JMC clears 66 building permission cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 12: Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today cleared 66 building permission cases.
In an official handout issued here today, it has been stated that a meeting was held under the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu S.C Sawhney. It added that 66 building permission cases were cleared. Building permissions cases cleared are likely to generate revenue of Rs. 10 lakh for Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Besides this, while further continuing and intensifying the drive to clear footpaths, enforcement staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer (CEO) Satish Khajuria visited the areas of Dogra Hall, Exchange Road, Kachi Chowani, Amphalla and B.C.Road. During the drive, team seized material, goods like wooden benches, crates, sign boards, chairs, drums and counters which were placed by shopkeepers / vendors by encroaching upon footpaths / pavements etc in these areas.
