SRS to observe Feb 14 as Black Day

JAMMU, Feb 12: To protest the Valentines’ day celebrations, the Shri Ram Sena Jammu
Kashmir, held a demonstration in front of Press Club here today.
The members of Shri Ram Sena torched Valentine day greeting cards and posters. Rajiv Mahajan, State President SRS warned not to celebrate Valentines’ day in Jammu adding that if any body found celebrating the ritual, Shri Ram Sena activists would not tolerate it. He appealed the parents to stop their children from observing the day. The Sena leader said since Jammu is famous as the City of Temples, any type of vulgarity will not be accepted adding all the hotels, restaurants, parks, theaters and gift shops will be closely monitored by Shri Ram Sena activists “Those who celebrate Valentine day in Jammu will not be spared at any cost,” cautioned Rajiv Mahajan adding “Any think can happen with them…. The responsibility lies with the Valentines’ day celebrators.” He further said that Shri Ram Sena has decided to observe February 14 as Black Day all over India.
