| GCW Parade organizes lecture on Organometallic Chemistry | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 12: The Science Club of Govt. College for Women Parade organized a guest
lecture on Organometallic Chemistry here today.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. S.K. Pandey, Deptt of Chemistry, University of Jammu. The Principal, Dr. Kiran Bakshi was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof. SDS Jamwal, HoD Chemistry welcomed the
resource person and introduced him to the audience. Prof. Pandey deliberated upon the various aspects of organometallics with his deep knowledge of the subject. He summed up his lecture with importance and applications of organotransition metal complexes in the area of catalysis, hydrogenation, biological and agricultural fields. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof Bhavana Sharma.
