PHE Employees Welfare Association demand rights through government orders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb 12: A meeting of the PHE Employees Welfare Association was held today at Jammu under the chairmanship of Ram Parkash Sharma the president of the Association. Sharma while speaking on the occasion expressed they do not believe in protest rallies and strikes and strictly follow the rules contained in Govt employees conduct rules and Trade union act. “Accordingly we believe in table negotiation and settlement of things through dialogue, so that the employees and the general public may not be disturbed. Sharma demanded that 6th pay commission arrears may be paid in one Installment, those who have completed seven years of service may be brought on regular establishment, all the daily wagers be paid Rs 3300 per month, all the employees who were regularized during 1994 under SRO 64 and were designated as helpers were to be automatically given the pay scale of their promotional Technical trade as already provided in the said 'SRO, but the same has not been implemented so far. The Association requested that all such persons be given their higher pay scale of their promotional trade as already approved in the SRO 64. Besides they said that extra pay for 2 days may be paid to the employees, ITI and non ITI recoveries be stopped, 10% DA be given in cash. Mohan Lal, Thoru Ram Ktal, Channan Dev, Khairati Lal, Asha Ram, Jagdev Singh, Chaman Lal, Sham Lal, and others also spoke on the occasion.
