| CAPD employees seek DPC | | |

In a day long inter-district convention of Consumer Affair and Public Distribution (CAPD) Employees Federation, employees demanded the holding of DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) to promote class IV employees of the department and assigning Departmental Financial Advisors the task of checking the records instead of Chartered Accountants. The convention was presided over by the President of the federation, Rajinder Singh Wazir.
The federation also demanded strengthening of transfers policy and stop over frequent transfers. Speaking on the occasion, Wazir apprised that there is no need for special budget on part of the government as they are already working in the next grade but what is needed is to change their designation only.
