| Hockey tourney postponed for Feb 18 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 13: Hockey lovers of Jammu have to wait for some more days to witness activity in the town in view of postponement of an open tournament by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir Hockey Association.
The event was scheduled to be held from tomorrow at KK Hakhu Stadium, here that too after a gap of more than two years.
“Due to bad weather, we have decided to extend the scheduled date of the open hockey tournament for four days. Now, the competition shall start from February 18 at the same venue,” general secretary of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, Mohinder Kour told SAN.
In all, eight teams, belongs to Jammu district, have already confirmed entries with the organizers for this knock-out tournament.
