| NSF protest against price hike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu: Feb 13 : The activists of National Secular Forum (NSF), State Unit led by its President Vikas Sharma today staged demonstration and took out a mass protest rally at University against the failure of the UPA-Government to control the soaring prices of petrol products, essential commodities and corruption cases.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma said that the government has failed at all fronts in coming up the price hike making a common man to suffer. He said Central Government was watching the situation as a mute spectator taking no effective steps to control the rising prices of essential commodities.
He said that steps have to be taken by the people itself saying no to corruption and fighting for this evil. He said we have to be one to fight for the cause and corrupt people and expose them. He said that NSF takes strong note that no step has been taken so far to have control the price rise by the government.
Among those who were present in the Protest included, Sukdev Singh, Balveer Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Shafqat Malik, Mohd. Qayoom Malik, Layaqat Ali Khan, Sri Ram, Sanjeev Sharma, Sandeep Singh Charak, Sunny Babber and others.
