| Teachers forum holds meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Feb 13 : The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum of Zone Bhalwal was held today at Govt High School, Keri (Zone Bhalwal) under the chairmanship of Mohd Sarwar Khan, a senior leader of the forum.
The meeting was attended by more than 200 teachers. The speaker condemned the Govt attitude towards mitigating the genuine demands of the teachers.
Addressing the meeting, State General Secretary of the Forum Ganesh Khajuria appealed to the Higher Education authorities to increase the honorarium of the Education Volunteers (EVS) and Rehbar-E-Taleem Teachers (RETs) who were suffering a lot due to the high prices of the essential commodities .
The speakers pledged to support Jammu and Kashmir Teachers forum and to participate en-masse in the Secretariat ghero Programme on February 21.
Prominent who attended the meeting include Darshan Sharma, Ghulam Hussain Gamma, Dig Vijay, Mohd Akbar, Jodh Parkash, Mohd Yousaf, Pura Chand, Mohd Azam and many others.
