5-year law course students to now get BA LLB degree | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 13: The University of Jammu has decided to grant BA LLB degree to the students of 5-year integrated law course instead of just LLB degree. According to a press handout issued here today by the Jammu Law Students Association (JLSA), the Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu Prof Varun Sahni has agreed to grant the BA LLB degree to the students of 5-year integrated law course. An order to this effect was issued by the University administration on Friday in which it was mentioned that all the students of 5 year Law course will now be granted BA LLB degree including the batch passing out in 2010. JLSA president Nitin Parihar has welcomed the decision taken by the University administration. He particularly applauded the Vice Chancellor’s role in taking such a historic step adding that the law students are highly delighted with the announcement. Parihar further said JLSA was the only association that acted as the catalyst and took the grievances of the students to the highest body
