In a press statement issued to media, state general secretary NSUI Arjun Singh Pathania said that students of government schools are provided with unsafe water. He added that govt. school students are mostly provided
drinking water in cement reservoirs which are hardly cleaned for years.
He said that NSUI has received numerous complaints regarding unsafe water supplied by PHE department especially in Jammu city area. Pathania said that impure water is provided to schools by means of mis-installed and outdated pipeline system.
