| Parents Worship Day celebrations begin | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 13: Mattar-Pittar Pujan Diwas was celebrated a day advance at Bhagwati Nagar Ashram of Asharamji Bapu by a large number of parents and wards. A large number of parents and children assembled in the Ashram complex to celebrate this day in order to educate and awaken the young
generation from not celebrating the day of 14th February as St. Valentine’s Day. Among the parents and children Ch. Sham Lal, MLA BJP also set an example by celebrating this day with his family members
here at Bhagwati Nagar, Ashram. Saving the Indian culture for the increasing influence of western
culture and its ill-effects on the society the Parents Worship Day reminds us the true bonds of love, respect and cultural ethos. In prevent the young generation from falling prey to Western culture; the
day of 14th February is celebrated every year as “Mattar-Pittar Poojan Diwas” throughout India and abroad on the directive of Asharam Bapu.
