| Conference on “New Discoveries in Mathematics” concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 13: PG Department of Mathematics, Government MAM College, Jammu organized valedictory function of the 2-day National Level Conference (NLC) on “New Discoveries in athematics and its Applications”.
The conference is sponsored by UGC and JK State Council of Science and Technology.
Director Colleges, Higher Education Department, Dr Sham Lal Gupta and Director Colleges Development Council, University of Jammu, Professor Rajive Gupta were the special guests on the occasion.
Professor Gupta congratulated the Principal and the organizing committee for holding a National Level Conference in the College. He said that the University of Jammu is always providing full cooperation
and support to the colleges in the Government and private sectors to achieve excellence in higher education.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Govt MAM College, Prof Ajeet Angral, said that the main objective of the conference is to provide a platform to the mathematicians, staff and students to interact and
discuss the various issues pertaining to the new discoveries in mathematics and its applications. He said that the conference in each and every subject.
Academicians of National & International reputes from outside the J&K State, University of Jammu, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, BGSB University, teachers from different government and private colleges,
besides a number of scholars are participating and presenting their papers with a focus on new discoveries in mathematics and its application.
